Sex and The Island is a creation of Andrew Hiscock, who came up with the idea while flipping through the Dictionary of Newfoundland English. He said to himself “Man, there are some saucy words in here.” And then he realized that he had a good ol’ Newfoundland name that was rather saucy in of itself. And then he realized he wanted to learn more about these saucy things that keep popping up (pun intended) all around Newfoundland.
And here we are. Enjoy.
